Artworks
created from lines of random scrawl (doodles)
Series "Scrawlgraphics"
This is a series of graphic artworks created from lines of random scrawl on paper using ink, marker, ballpoint pen, liner, charcoal, pencil, pastel and more.

Every pieces of art begins with the creation of random scrawl. It's like a free chaotic "dance" of a hand on paper without thoughts and logic.

This series is made in black and white. It helps you read these graphics like plain black text on a white sheet of paper. In addition, the black and white color scheme is a symbol of the unity of opposites - as Yin and Yang, as Chaos and Image, created from it.

Series "Scrawlflow"
Each piece of art in this series begins with a chaotic flow of black paint, forming a random scrawl.
I immediately turn the scrawl into an image, adding paint to the appropriate places on the canvas while the scrawl is still wet. So that the flow of paint scrawl and image merge into a single flow.

Most of the artworks is done on canvas, but there are some made on watercolor paper.

Series "Scrawlpaintings"
Each artwork from the series "Scrawlpaintings" is a scrawlgraphy created by paints on canvas.

The piece of art begins with an intuitive choice of colors and creating a background. Then, "free dance" of the hand on the canvas, scraping the scrawl on fresh paint. This trace is created blindly, without thinking about the result. Just doodles, just random lines.

Then a unique image is born from the lines of the scrawl.
